When Lennon and Maisy Stella made their first YouTube music video back in 2010, they had no idea how popular it would become. They sang the song You and I by Ingrid Michaelson, and the video went viral! It got more than two million hits, and more people wanted to hear what else these talented sisters could do. They didn’t have long to wait!

Lennon and Maisy went on to post more music videos, by artists like Jason Mraz, Belinda Carlisle and Robyn. Their channel received more than 72 million views as thousands of fans tuned in to listen to the sisters’ beautiful harmonies. The sisters were even invited to appear at the Country Music Awards, where they presented an award to Taylor Swift and performed a song onstage!

Now, 15-year-old Lennon and 11-year-old Maisy are stars on the TV show Nashville. The show is about the music business in Nashville, and real-life sisters Lennon and Maisy play TV-sisters Maddie and Daphne Conrad. The girls are also musicians on the show, and they play guitar, piano and banjo! The girls first appeared on Nashville in 2012, and right away they became fan favorites. Their performance of Ho Hey on the show made it to the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, and world-famous fashion designer Michael Kors even invited them to his fashion show!

Now the girls have started an exciting project. They have released a picture book called In The Waves based on their original song! The book tells the tale of two sisters looking forward to a fun day at the beach. But when something unexpected happens, they learn the power of imagination. “There are no words to describe the excitement we have for the release of In the Waves,” say Lennon and Maisy. “What started as a fun little ditty we would sing in the bath when we were little has now turned into something we are so proud to share!”
